Volunteer in San Fernando Valley

One Human Community welcomes volunteers! If you live in San Fernando Valley, CA and would like to help with our educational programs for children and / or with tutoring (these are our main focus areas, right now), let us know.

While we’re trying to raise funds to make the transition from a grassroots movement to an organization with an adequate location, equipment, etc. and – of course, a formal non-profit status – we have some limitations. The concept and activities of One Human Community don’t. We’re looking for volunteers who can appreciate our current activities but perhaps even more importantly, our goals. Volunteers who don’t expect to be wined and dined (we have a low budget and are crammed in a small location) but put the Community’s mission above their own comfort. We are idealists dedicated to helping the community and we welcome volunteers who think like we do.
